WESTFIELD

 

4:25 p.m.: hit and run accident, Springfield Road, a caller reports that his wife was the victim of a hit and run accident with no reported injuries, the responding officer reports that the caller’s wife was able to provide a plate number for the other vehicle, the officer reports that the vehicle was located and the operator claimed to not recall having been in an accident, the officer reports that he gave the caller’s wife’s insurance information to the female party and informed her that a crash report would be completed;

5:29 p.m.: suspicious, Russell Road, a caller reports that she returned home to find her yard decorations torn apart and footsteps on her back porch, the caller reports that she thinks she knows who is responsible, the responding officer reports that he advised the caller to install security cameras and that he made attempts to contact the suspected party.

SOUTHWICK

8:16 a.m.: officer wanted, Mockingbird Lane, a resident reports harassment by phone and in person;

5:28 p.m.: gas in the air, Tannery Road, the family was evacuated for the smell of gas, fire personnel report kerosene heaters throughout the home, no leaks;

9 p.m.: officer wanted, Granville road, a resident reports receiving scam calls from spoofed local numbers with requests for personal information, no info was given to the callers.
