4:52 a.m.: downed lines, Hillside Road, a caller reports that there is a large pine tree down in the roadway along with some wires, the responding officer reports that the road would be shut down while the roadway is cleared, dispatch reports that detail officers would need to be on scene for 10 to 12 hours;

4:27 p.m.: burglary/B&E, Monroe Street, a caller reports that his apartment was broken into sometime the previous day, the responding officer filed an incident report;

7:07 p.m.: electrical hazard, High Street, a patrol officer reports that he observed a utility pole emitting sparks and he believes a transformer may have blown, dispatch reports that Westfield Gas and Electric was advised and would be sending a crew to address the issue;

7:58 p.m.: disturbance, East Silver Street, a caller from an East Silver Street pharmacy reports that a female party is causing a disturbance and is not wearing a facemask, the responding officer reports that the female party was allowed to complete her transactions before leaving and being trespassed from the store.


12:14 a.m.: fire alarm, South Loomis Street, the homeowner cancelled the call stating he had backdraft due to the wind and there was no fire;

8:05 a.m.: College Highway, a motorist reports his vehicle was struck by a tire that came off another vehicle;

8:53 a.m.: officer wanted, Depot Street, a caller asked to speak with an officer regarding nonpayment of wages from a Southwick business, police referred the person it was a civil matter;

9:25 a.m.: fire, Bugbee Road, a passerby reports sparks coming from a branch on utility lines, the fire department reports no fire;

12:15 p.m.: concerned citizen, Feeding Hills Road, a caller reports a dog in a locked vehicle, the responding officer reports it was 22 degrees and sunny and the dog was in good condition and there was no violation.
