WESTFIELD

10:46 a.m.: animal complaint, Casimir Street, a caller reports that a black and white dog was seen roaming loose, the responding animal control officer reports that a female senior border collie type dog was brought to the Westfield Regional Animal Shelter;

12:08 p.m.: animal complaint, Murphy Circle, a caller reports that she was attacked by a dog on Murphy Circle with no injuries, the responding animal control officer reports that because there were no injuries to the dog or the caller, no quarantine would be necessary, the ACO reports that the caller was upset at this fact and threatened to take matters into her own hands, which the ACO advised against;, the ACO reports that she would follow up with the dog’s owner about the incident;

12:22 p.m.: accident, North Road, multiple callers report a motor vehicle accident involving a utility pole with injuries, the responding ambulance reports that one person was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital, the responding officer reports that a utility pole was sheared off and that Westfield Gas and Electric arrived on scene to address the issue, dispatch reports that one tow truck was requested to remove the vehicle from the scene;

1:38 p.m.: animal complaint, Greylock Street, a caller reports that they found a stray cat, the responding animal control officer reports that she retrieved the black short haired cat and transported it to the Westfield Regional Animal Shelter;

2:38 p.m.: vandalism/damage, Granville Road, a caller reports that she arrived to her property to find signs of forced entry, the responding officer reports that an incident report would be completed.

SOUTHWICK

12:20 p.m.: general service, Granville Road, a resident reports their pool burst and water is running down the road, no services were needed, the resident just want to share the information;

12:56 p.m.: animal complaint, Powder Mill Road, a caller eports a loose dog running in the street;

2:14 p.m.: general service, Tannery Road, a caller reports someone using a back hoe is blocking the roadway, a responding officer reports all was in order’

6:23 p.m.: animal complaint, Honey Pot Road, a boxer dog without a collar was reported wandering the area.
