WESTFIELD

9:37 a.m.: larceny, Lockhouse Road, a caller reports that someone stole a catalytic converter from one of her company’s vehicles, the responding officer filed an incident report

2:14 p.m.: accident, East Main Street, a detail officer reports a two motor vehicle accident at his location, the responding officer reports that there are injuries and fluids on the ground and requested that the fire department respond with a fire engine and two ambulances, the responding ambulances report that one person was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital and one person refused medical attention, a responding officer reports that two tow trucks were requested to remove the two vehicles from the scene;

8:12 p.m.: fireworks, Egleston Road, a caller reports that people are setting off fireworks every night, the responding officer reports that an area search turned up negative;

8:16 p.m.: hit and run, Shaker Road, a caller reports that a motor vehicle was driving around the corner when it struck a guard rail and ran over a mailbox before taking off, the responding officer reports that the vehicle may have a damaged headlight and told all units to be on the lookout, the officer filed a crash report.
