9:15 a.m.: animal complaint, Court Street, a caller reports that she trapped a stray cat, the responding Animal Control Officer reports that she retrieved the cat and brought it to the Westfield Regional Animal Shelter;

1:36 p.m.: suspicious, Western Avenue, a caller from a Western Avenue park reports that a male party with a history of sexual predatory behavior has returned to the park and is sitting in his vehicle next to the playground with his shirt off, the responding officer reports that the male party was served with a letter of trespass;

5:13 p.m.: accident, Union Street, a caller reports that they were involved in a two-motor vehicle accident, the responding officer reports that a tow truck was requested to remove one of the vehicles from the scene, the officer reports that Elizabeth M. Shular, 59, of 126 Union Street was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a state highway traffic violation;

8:18 p.m.: be on the lookout, Springfield Road, West Springfield police report that a vehicle was seen operating erratically while heading into Westfield, the responding officer reports that he located the vehicle in a Springfield Road parking lot, the officer reports that they removed the license as they were expired and non-renewable, the officer reports that a note was left on the windshield to inform the operator that their registration was expired and their plates were removed;

9:12 p.m.: motor vehicle violations, Springfield Road, a patrol officer reports that he pulled over a vehicle from a previous call after it left a parking lot after having its plates removed by police due to expired registration, the officer reports that a tow truck was requested to remove the vehicle from the scene.



8:50 a.m.: fire, South Longyard Road, a smoldering woodchip fire was extinguished; 

6:42 p.m.: suspicious person, Berkshire Avenue, a resident reports a suspicious person was on the property twice, an officer reports the subject was returning mail.
