1:41 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, East Main Street, a patrol office reports he observed a vehicle operating without illuminated taillights and stopped it to find it was occupied by three juvenile girls, the dispatcher was unable to make telephone contact with the owner and Agawam police were asked to contact the owner at her address, the owner told Agawam police that she had been sleeping and did not know that her daughter and two visiting friends had taken the vehicle, the children were surrendered to the custody of their parents;
9:40 a.m.: larceny, Powdermill Village, 126 Union St., a resident came to the station to report a larceny, the responding officer reports the complainant said that her rent money -$800 in cash – had been stolen from her apartment, the victim suggested two possible suspects, the officer report his investigation is ongoing.
