8:30 a.m.: accident, Thomas Street, a caller reports that he witnessed an elderly male driver strike two parked cars, the caller reports that the man hit a curb and did not correct properly before striking the two vehicles;

10:30 a.m.: animal complaint, Miller Street, an Animal Control Officer (ACO) reports that she had spotted a peacock that had been on the loose for several weeks, a responding ACO reports that she would be bringing a trap to humanely capture the peacock, the officers report that they were able to successfully capture the peacock and bring it to the animal shelter;

12:02 p.m.: larceny, Wildflower Circle, a walk-in party reports that he was the victim of an online scam in which he made a purchase over Facebook but never received what he paid for, the responding officer filed an incident report;

12:55 p.m.: larceny, Springfield Road, a walk-in party reports that their unlocked vehicle had been broken into and had several items stolen from it while he was inside a store, the responding officer filed an incident report;

6:01 p.m.: trespassing, Pochassic Road, a caller reports that a passenger vehicle was seen traveling down his driveway and fields at a high rate of speed, the responding officer reports that he located the vehicle in question down by the river and that it was unoccupied, the officer reports that a group of youths fled the scene and were being sought for a criminal complaint;

7:07 p.m.: vehicle fire, Springfield Road, a caller reports that there is an unoccupied vehicle on fire in the parking lot of a Springfield Road department store, the responding firefighters report that the fire had been extinguished by the time they had arrived.
