Major crime and incident report

9:42 a.m.: identity fraud, School Street, a Russell resident came to the station to complain of unauthorized transactions on his debit card, the responding officer reports that although the victim has physical possession of his debit card eleven fraudulent transactions amounting to more than $2,000 were made in Kansas during the past few months;
10:30 a.m.: commercial vehicle inspection, Union Street, an officer reports a commercial vehicle was stopped for inspection and the operator was found to be unlicensed, a criminal complaint was filed;
6:00 p.m.: accident, multiple callers report a three-car crash, the responding officer reports one person was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital and two vehicles were towed to the police impound yard;
10:59 p.m.: robbery, North Elm Street, a caller from a North Elm Street convenience store and gas station reports he was robbed as he was closing the store, the responding officer reports a described suspect accosted the clerk and fled with more than $100, the incident was referred to the Detective Bureau.
