11:54 a.m.: narcotics violation, Elm Street, a caller from a social service agency reports finding some heroin and hypodermic needles, the responding office reports he took custody of the contraband;
noon: animal complaint, Campbell Drive, an animal control officer reports she took custody of a litter of stray kittens and transported them to the municipal animal shelter, a trap was set for the mother cat;
10:02 a.m.: animal complaint, Apremont Way, a resident came to the municipal animal shelter to surrender a sick or injured rabbit;
2:31 p.m.: breaking and entering, Mechanic Street, a caller reports her vehicle was broken into, the responding officer reports a rear window of a car was smashed and property valued at about $2,100 was stolen.
