7:03 p.m.: animal complaint, Montgomery Road, a caller from an animal hospital reports that a stray cat was struck by a vehicle, the responding animal control officer reports that the cat had to be euthanized and the remains would be transported back to the Westfield Regional Animal Shelter;
8:42 p.m.: assist other police department, Shaker Road, police detectives report that they will be assisting Holyoke police in speaking with a male party, the detectives report that John Parenteau, 60, of 929 Shaker Road, Westfield, was placed under arrest for electronic enticement of a minor and distribution of an obscene matter.
