8:36 a.m.: animal complaint, Westfield Police Department 15 Washington St., a desk officer reports a person brought a stray dog to the station, the responding animal control officer reports the German short haired pointer dog was transported to the Westfield Animal Shelter;
10:51 a.m.: animal complaint, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports a resident advised him of a pigeon which may be sick, the responding animal control officer reports the pigeon was transported to the municipal animal shelter;
11:01 a.m.: larceny, Broad Street, a caller from a nursing facility reports a resident has complained that cash was stolen from his room, the responding officer reports the victim will be reimbursed.
