WESTFIELD—Police are looking for assistance identifying the alleged “first shoplifter of the year” in Westfield.
According to the Westfield Detective Bureau’s Facebook page, police are looking to identify a suspect who allegedly stole a Kitchenaid mixer. The alleged incident occurred on Jan. 1, at 8 a.m., which could make them the city’s “first shoplifter of the year,” according to the post.
“We would like to acknowledge this accomplishment but we do not know who she is. We do know that she was driving a grey Ford Escape, she wears ripped jeans, glasses, and must love to bake,” the post read.
