WESTFIELD – On Wednesday, June 20 at 6 p.m., a Special City Council public hearing on the FY19 budget, submitted by Mayor Brian P. Sullivan, will be held in City Council chambers.All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard for or against the proposed budget or any item therein.
This will be the only opportunity for the public to speak on the budget. The following week, the Finance sub-committee will meet on Tuesday, June 26 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss budget cuts. On Wednesday, June 27, at 6 p.m. a Committee of the Whole will meet to review the FY19 budget. On Thursday, June 28 at 6:30 p.m., a Special City Council meeting is scheduled for final passage of the budget.
