I hope the Westfield State University trustees are keeping an eye on the new guy. Rumor has it he’s back in his home country of Brazil visiting family. Is it a coincidence that the Olympics are about to start in Rio? As a state entity I’d like to see who’s paying for his trip. My guess is we as tax payers are footing the bill. Why can’t they find a decent person to run that school for more than a few years? Mike Knapik would’ve made a great WSU president.
This is for the city and town officials of Westfield and Southwick: Want to generate revenue? Charge people a $50 fine for improper use of water during those periods where there is a water restriction. Both communities could rake in tens of thousands of dollars.
