Hey Southwick school officials: A Southwick boy does good in the world but deplorable label trumps his success. Pun intended.
The point of education is not to brainwash students but to educate them and expose them to a multitude of different viewpoints then discussing with the students why those views are held and then letting the students make educated decisions based on facts. The Southwick School committee can use the latest issue as an incredible learning experience for the students by having a conservative speaker and liberal speaker give talks. And what better than to have a former student be one of those speakers!
