I have never done this before, but I very strongly feel that I must respond to the person who requested in the WNG’s 9.12.18 Pulseline that “the Democrats and the News media let the President do his job!!”— as well as shame those of us who seriously doubt our President’s ability to do that job. I definitely agree that this country has become “a laughing stock to the rest of the world” and that “we [may well] need a new type of government,” but I strongly doubt any amount of prayer is going to make any difference. Westfield, embarrassingly, was one of few municipalities in our Commonwealth that elected Mr. Trump. That anyone actually expects a lying, misogynistic, racist, philandering bigot who happens to have been elected to the most powerful office in the free world to do any kind of job that would benefit the author of the above request – or anyone else other than himself, a member of his immediate family or anyone in the upper one-percent of household incomes, indicates a serious disconnection from the Un-United reality he/she seems to feel prayer could eradicate or remedy. Dear Writer, it is not “Drama & idol GOSSIP,” as you suggest that will bring down our felonious megalomaniac – it’s TRUTH, provided our Judicial branch is not as inalienably altered as the Executive branch of government has been by “The Donald.” No one has torn our government apart more than today’s Republican Party’s hateful “Moral Majority’s” religiosity, along with their scathingly hypocritical “Party of Family Values”, and their Mr. Trump.
