I just read your story online about Councilor Knapik taking a position in Yarmouth. I think I may speak for many residents when I say to Mr. Knapik, please resign and move on with your life. There is no way you can actively support Westfield causes while being an administrator of a town that far away. Think about it, even if you remain a Westfield resident, which I would think the selectmen of Yarmouth would not take too kindly, you will be there each weekday and won’t be able to maintain your duties as councilor. People elected you to serve Westfield and that means in the sub-committees you’re assigned. Whether people like you or not, thank you for your service to the city, now move on.
