So, a fairly minor wind storm knocked down an old majestic tree on Western Ave near the cemetery. What does this tell us? While the trees along Western Ave might look nice, there are many that are probably too old and not that sturdy any more. It’s ok to take some trees down in the name of progress. Just like the new green downtown.
