I was shocked there was no outrage over my comments about the million dollar handicapped playground. When I started asking around, everyone I spoke with was absolutely furious about the spending of that kind of money for a handful of kids. This truly is just shameful that we’re even considering spending this money. People in this town are messed up. They will fight to have a business build here to help property taxes but by all means blow a million dollars on an unneeded playground. And some elected people are complaining about the money being spent on a rail trail? What is wrong with people? I hope after the next election those who lose are given participation trophies.
