I just want to say one thing: what a waste of money the Green is in Westfield! All them lights like that? What a waste! And who’s going to pay the electric bill for all them lights? The city required that the bulbs be high efficient led units that save money and shouldn’t have to be changed in approximately 20 years.
I agree with Saturday’s PulseLine comments about the mayor’s presentation during the city council meeting. It was awful. He looked totally incompetent. Councilors Flaherty and Onofrey found several major problems with his numbers. When challenged with basic mathematical realities, the mayor was dismissive and arrogant. The mayor tried to blame everything on his new treasurer who was away on vacation.
