Hello. I am sitting here wondering what happened to common courtesy, consideration of others and a little respect for your neighbors. Are these things of the past? Last Thursday Fort Meadow Head Start had all the Westfield Gas and Electric utility vehicles along with a fire truck there for the kids to explore. I didn’t know horns were such a novelty. Every vehicle is equipped with one and I’m sure every kid has heard or beeped one. Seriously? Four hours of listening to each and every child beeping at least four to five times? More than annoying. Head Start – you do the math, or is that not taught anymore? Maybe the staff and kids could benefit from a little lesson in respect. I wasn’t going to complain but yesterday the kids were out playing, excessively screaming at the top of their lungs. Where’s the teachers, the guidance? Does anyone take in consideration people might work nights and have to sleep in the day? Or may be sick or elderly? So, c’mon people – like the old saying goes, a little courtesy goes a long way. Just saying… The Wakened Bear. Thak you. Have a good day.
