Reading the requests of the Smith’s for Freedom of Information Act items of the School Board concerning Ashley Street School, I find it difficult to understand how many students, possibly including them, were afforded the opportunity for many years to walk to Ashley Street School but they do not seem to want the future generation of students in Westfield to have that same opportunity. Also, why do we continue to have to answer questions from individual who do not live in Westfield? If they are requesting on behalf of their mother, if they have power of attorney from her, it should be so stated in their requests
