Hey Westfield voters…how are you feeling today? For all of you who voted the hype in early November I just want to point out to each of you that those councilors that had the opportunity to reduce taxes Thursday night, and I mean really reduce your property taxes, those then-candidates who hyped it all election season about high taxes, those councilors didn’t follow through on their campaign promises. Shocking I know! But here’s the best part: they expect, and plan on, our short term memory so in two years when they’re running again they know you won’t remember this. You know how they’re spinning it now? They’re saying that the average homes taxes will only increase a few dollars per year. For God’s sake people! Educate yourself! Don’t let these politicians pander to you. If they say it often enough and loud enough it still doesn’t make it true.
