Hi Pulseline – Concerning the petition drive to stop Westfield from building a new school on Cross Street. A few old N.I.M.B.Ys (not in my back yard) should not stop a modern school from being built for Westfield’s school children! The land swap is a great idea! The new playground will abut The Little River, that is stocked with trout each spring. Kids should be exposed to fishing at an early age before the become
trapped into vidio games and cell phones! As far as the new playgrounds location goes,it is just down the road from Amelia Park and The Big Y! When I was a kid it was called “Tin Bridge” and my friends and I spent many a summer day swimming and fishing there.
