WESTFIELD: Raymond N. Buffum, 82, died Sunday, February 28, 2016 in a local nursing home. He was born in Westfield on March 12, 1933. He attended schools in Westfield, Easthampton and Northampton. He was a truck driver for various trucking companies. He leaves his wife of 50 years Christine M. (Fitch) Buffum, his children Carol Czanowski of Illinois, June Mica Jensen of Agawam, Cheryl Kelso of Cape Cod, Bonnie Hannah of Agawam and Janet Buffum of Warren, his mother Emma Lyons of Sante Fe N.M., his brother Richard Buffum of Longmeadow, his half-sister Sarah Lyons of Alburquerque N.M., his half brother Brad Lyons of Santa Fe N.M., many grandchildren and great- grandchildren and a special girl Dawn Tally. He was pre-deceased by his son Raymond N. Buffum, his daughter Sally Loos, his step-father Norman Lyons, half brothers William Lyons and John Lyons. The funeral and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
