SOUTHWICK: Rita M. (Pelletier) Cotton, 89, (1926-2015) passed away peacefully Sunday, October 4, 2015. Born on May 3, 1926, in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of Arthur and Vivian (Ely) Pelletier. Rita has been a resident of Southwick since 1971.
Rita enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and the care to the well being of animals, we must not forget bingo.
Rita was predeceased by her husband Roderick B. Cotton and son-in-law Robert F. Girard. She is survived by a son Robert V. Cotton and his husband Raymond H. Landry-Cotton, two daughters Doris M. Cotton and Linda A. Cotton-Girard. Rita also leaves behind four special girlfriends; Dina, Dot, Doris, Terry and many other hearts she touched over the years.
Her funeral and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Robert E Cusack Funeral Home, Westfield, is entrusted with the arrangements.
