WESTFIELD: 
Robert Paul LaMountain, 85, of Westfied died Saturday in a local nursing home. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 26, 1930 the son of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Gottschalk) La Mountain. Robert was a 1948 graduate of West Springfield High School , and was employed as a receiving manager at Sears and Roebuck for twenty five years, retiring in 1992.Robert served nine years in the Army National Guard. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary (Cahill) LaMountain in 1990, and his daughter, Diane Davenport on July 20, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Knapp) LaMountain, a son ,Robert, Jr. and his wife Donna of Florida, two daughters , Cheryl Stoothoff and her husband John of Huntington, and Ann Maxwell and her fiancé Kevin Hebert of Huntington. Robert also leaves many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4pm until 7pm at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield. Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at St. Mary’s Church, 30 Bartlett St., Westfield on Wednesday at 10:30am for a Liturgy of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
