Ron Musterait

WESTFIELD – Ron Musterait passed away on February 17th, 2026, of natural causes. He was born on May 24th, 1944, in Westfield, Massachusetts. He will be reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Margaret “Peggy” Musterait and daughter, Michele Tavano. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Kelley Lambert of Manhattan Beach, California and her two children, Claudia and Jack, his son, Todd Musterait, and his wife, Shelley Musterait of Orchard Park, New York, and their two children, Madeline and Mallory, and Michele’s two daughters, Christa and Carly Tavano. Ron also leaves behind his brother, Ernie Musterait, and his wife, Dee.

Ron and his wife, Peggy, spent most of their years living and raising their family in Andover, Massachusetts. Ron was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Trenton State College. He was a proud veteran and served in the 104th Air National Guard. Ron had a thriving career as a human resources and data center executive.

Ron was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a friend to many and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his fellow outdoorsmen, and son, Todd. Ron and Peggy spent many years traveling in their retirement and enjoying time with their grandchildren. Many hours were spent by Ron tenderly cultivating his very extensive garden and sharing its bounty with neighbors.

Ron will be deeply missed by all and will be forever in our hearts. Rest in peace.

Calling hours for Ron will be held on Saturday, March 28th at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield from 10-11 a.m. A service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Westfield. Firtionadams.com
