SOUTHWICK – Roxanne B. Cook, 64, (1956 – 2020) has joined her heavenly angels on December 19, 2020 at her family home. Born in Hartford, CT on October 14, 1956 to the late Bernard and Mary W. (Webster) Currier, she graduated from Southwick High School in 1974. She had previously worked for the Westfield News and the Springfield Republican and Springfield Florist Supply. Floral design was her passion through which her vision came to life. For many years, Roxanne was very involved at the Southwick Congregational Church and was a faithful communicant. She also served as a member of the Southwick School Committee. While her children were growing up, she was involved with the Southwick Girl Scouts and the Southwick Rec Center.
In addition to her parents, Roxanne was predeceased by her husband, Elmer Cook, and her sister, Cynthia Breton. To cherish her memory, Roxanne leaves her loving children, Tina and Jason Cook, her beloved granddaughter Hannah Massoni, her sister Patricia Banasik and husband Theodore; her fiancé George Zanolli and brother-in-law, David Breton and wife, Donna. Roxanne adored and cherished a large extended family. Known to her nieces as “Auntie Grassi”, she was dearly loved by Sonya Murray and children Haley and Jacob; and Melissa Cunningham and daughter Jaylah Ruiz who knew her as “Gigi”. Roxanne is also survived by her Aunt Altene and Aunt Marie of Maine and her Uncle George and Aunt Joan of Connecticut.
