Several participants flash smiles and peace signs during the inaugural Run Westfield Flat Fast 5K road race in 2013. This year’s 3.1 mile version will take place today beginning at 1 p.m. Fans are welcome to line up at the finish line on Elm Street. On-site registration is available on race day at the Fitness Expo/Woodward Center (395 Western Ave.) from 9 a.m.-noon. A total of $30,000 in prize money will be awarded.
