WESTFIELD – It is with great sadness that we announce that Sandra Elizabeth Noe (née Switzer) died peacefully on September 27th, 2024 in her home surrounded by her family. Sandra was born on June 13th, 1941 the third child and only daughter of Helen and Renton Switzer. She was a lifelong resident of Russell Massachusetts, graduating from Huntington High School and marrying Howard Robert Noe on November 11th, 1961.
Sandra was the quintessential mother and wife. After raising her own children, she longed to hold babies again and cared for numerous foster children. She lived her life with a deep faith in God and commitment to family and lifelong friends. She had a great sense of adventure and loved travel, square dancing, rollercoasters, mystery dinners, nights out with her girls, a good game of cards, and all things Christmas. She will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her for the steadfast love she gave to everyone.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of nearly 63 years, Howard; her children Cherie Noe, Howard Noe, Kevin Noe, Aimee Goguen, Sean Noe, and Michelle Albitz; son-in-law David Hudacek, sisters-in-law Tina (Smith) Noe and Danielle (Welner) Noe; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; her brothers Robert Switzer, John Switzer, Raymond Switzer, and William Ferreira; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visiting hours will be held at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA from 9 a.m.- 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. and graveside committal at Russell Cemetery.
