Montgomery-Sean A. Carter, 33, died Friday, August 12, 2016. He was born in Springfield on March 14, 1983. He grew up in Westfield and Blandford and was a 2002 graduate of Westfield Vocational High School. Sean was a self-employed contractor for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and camping and his thanksgivings on the Island. He was proud of his Irish heritage. Sean leaves his children Caitlen, Sophia and Callahan Carter, his father Morton Barnes and his step-mother Cheryl Kondrat of Blandford, his brother Joshua Kudelka of Westfield, his sister Jessica Kudelka and her daughter Ellen of Westfield. He also leaves his step-brother Zachary Kondrat and many aunts, uncles and cousins, his best friend and love of his life Marissa Sharkey of Montgomery and his dog Thor “Manny”. He was pre-deceased by his mother Roberta Carter in 2015. The funeral for Sean will be held on Friday August 19th at 11 a.m. at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
