Northampton – It is with great sadness, that Selina Leigh Miller-Longtin, 34, born July 9, 1983 passed away on November 29th.
She attended Westfield Public Schools and was a personal care attendant for the Slattery family from Chicopee for many years.
Selina’s love of music brought her to becoming a state championship drummer at the young age of 8 years old, when she could barely see over the drum set. She was always proud of the fact that she beat out the boys in the competition! She found happiness in collecting blown glass and taking pictures of the sunset at the beach and snuggling with her 3 cats, Jujubee, Chester and Rikki Bear.
She leaves behind her loving mother, Rosanne (Roxanne) Miller-Longtin of Westfield, grandfather, Ralph Miller of Westfield, her paternal grandparents, Rosalind Alford and Henry Z. Longtin Jr., her Aunt, Cheryl Miller, Uncle, John Miller and her cousins Mara Miller-Felix and Teala St. George; second cousins Tyler and Brandon Miller and Eileen Felix, step-sisters Tyanna Longtin and Sierra Goodrich and many other aunts and uncles and cousins. She will be missed by her soul sister Megan O’Neill, along with special companions Adam Grabowiec and Brandon Lubanski and many good friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Henry Z. Longtin III, her grandmother, Mary Miller, and uncle Les Eldridge.
Selina’s family would like to thank the staff at the Westfield News Group for the incredible support during this difficult time.
Services for Selina will be at The Westfield Funeral Home, 4 Princeton St. Westfield on Wednesday, December 6th from 4pm-7pm.
