SOUTHWICK – Although the Board of Selectmen is not meeting tonight, there are several municipal meetings set at Town Hall.
The Southwick Board of Assessors will meet tonight at 5:30 p.m.
Agenda items include: Fiscal Year 2016 Statutories; CAI Technologies Invoice #431 – $1,138.75; Certificate for Chapter 61/61A Forest Land; 44 Charles Johnson Rd M/P #035/006; Motor Vehicle Excise Tax Abatement Report for the month of August 2015 – $2,270.55; FY16 Warrant & Commitment Sewer Betterment Payment, 45 South View Dr, M/P #090-003-000-004-045 (Ck # 382 & Ck# 3012) $ 4,749.88;. 61 A Lien Release – BK 4207 PG 20 for # 63 College Highway/M/P 157-007.
The Finance Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Building & Grounds Supervisor John Westcott has an appointment with the Committee to discuss the library parking lot and a lightning strike to the air conditioning unit at Town Hall.
The Southwick Historical Commission is meeting at 7 p.m. and Old Business includes Library Registration and Preservation, Canal National Historic Registration, Grave Markers, and the Walking Brochure Website/Facebook Page.
The last meeting is a Zoming Board of Appeals hearing at 7:15 p.m. to hear the petition of Norman Storey, I Two States Ave., Southwick. The petitioner is requesting a front line setback of 91 feet in order to construct a single family residence.
