WESTFIELD – Shirley A. (Sabol) Cromwell, 83, of Westfield died Monday, October 14, 2013 in a local nursing home. She was born in Westfield on December 8, 1929 to Stephen and Maryanne (Nadrowski) Sabol.
Shirley was a graduate of Westfield High School and retired as a foreman in the Assembly Department at Old Colony Envelope Company in Westfield. She was a former member of Golden Chapter Order or Eastern Star and volunteered at the Senior Center and the American Red Cross.
She leaves a daughter, Denise M. Cromwell-Muransky and her husband Jack of Westfield; a brother, Stephen Sabol and his wife Joan of Southwick and two grandsons, Nathan Young of Westfield and Randy (Cromwell) Anderson. Shirley was predeceased by a son, Raymond S. Cromwell in 1985. The family would like to thank her nurses at Heritage Hall North in Agawam especially Heather for their care.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 28 Bartlett Street, Westfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are omitted.
