Westfield – Shirley Ann (Hill) Wilcox, 81, passed away Monday, May 22 at the Governor’s Center in Westfield. Shirley was born July 30, 1935 in Huntington to the late Leslie and Anna (Parmlee) Hill. She grew up in Littleville and attended Chester schools, and later moved to Westfield in 1960. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years Bryan W. Wilcox, her dear grandson Shane Gilbert and his wife Dianna, her great granddaughters Anastasia and Abby of Southampton, her sister-in-law Yvonne Hill and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Stacy Wilcox, her brothers Richard Hill, William Hill, Leslie Hill Jr., Donald Hill and her sisters Ruth Noble, Dorothy Sygnator, Louise Green, Maxine Newell and Leona Schwaber. Shirley worked for many years at Kellogg Brush in Westfield. She was an avid Red Sox Fan, bird watcher, and a flower gardener. Shirley’s family would like to thank the Governor’s Center for the excellent care Shirley received especially to the nurses and CNAs. Per the request from Shirley there will be a private graveside service at Norwich Bridge Cemetery in Huntington, MA.
