WESTFIELD – Susan “Lee” Liptak (1950 – 2022) passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Mercy Hospital with her devoted husband, Mike, by her side holding her hand. She was born on May 14, 1950, in Westfield, MA to John and Mary Ligenza, and graduated from Westfield High School in 1968 and Kay Harvey Hair Academy. Lee was the proprietor of Franklin Beauty Salon, then worked for the Westfield Public School Lunch Program for 33 years. She was a communicant of St. Peter and St. Casimir Parish. Susan and Mike celebrated their 46 years of marriage on November 6. They enjoyed traveling and riding together on their Honda Gold Wing motorcycle.
Susan leaves the love of her life, Michael Liptak, his sister, Nancy Butler, and brothers Tom and Francis Liptak, plus many beloved friends and Victoria. She left us too soon and will be remembered in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Firtion Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA where a service will be held at noon, then burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery to follow. www.firtionadams.com
