WESTFIELD – Theodore K. Kmiecik, 77, of Westfield died Sunday, November 18, 2012 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Southwick on December 22, 1934 to Charles and Anna (Pieczka) Kmiecik.
Ted was a graduate of Westfield High School and a member of the Army National Guard in Westfield. He was a self employed farmer and had a blueberry, vegetable and tree farm in Blandford for many years retiring in 2000.
Ted leaves his wife of fifty-three years, Madia (Buttles) Kmiecik and his children, Cindy Zabielski of Chicopee, Helen Descoteaux of Zolfa Springs, FL, Mary Ann Plourde of Roanoake Park, CA, Tina Kmiecik of Westfield, Wendy Menard of Springfield and Theodore Kmiecik of Enfield, CT. He also leaves a sister, Rose Kmiecik of Ware and five grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA. Funeral and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
