WESTFIELD – Thomas G. Ouimette, 63, passed away suddenly Sunday, May 25, 2014 at home. Born in Miami Beach, FL., he spent most of his early years in Dover, NH and Wichita Falls, Oklahoma.
Thomas moved to Westfield in 1967 and was a graduate of Westfield High School, Class of 1967. He joined the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1969. Thomas drove tractor trailer trucks out of Oklahoma for 18 years from 1977 to 1995. He then became a taxi driver for Westfield Taxi. Thomas was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Westfield.
Thomas leaves his son, Jason A. Ouimette and his wife Jennifer of Chester; an adopted daughter, Tammy Gaudio and her husband Nicholas Jr.; 4 step-children, Matthew, Jolene, Deanna, and Sherry; 21 great-step children, Matthew, Ashley, Koby, Brian, Katelyn, Elizabeth, Nicholas III, Joseph, Javi, Rico, Jay, Danitza, Kyra, Iesha, Miguel, Anthony, Andrew, Allanah, Huntyr, Madeline, and Eris.
Friends and family are welcome to attend Thomas’ funeral and burial on June 2nd at 3:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA. The Robert E Cusack Funeral Home, Westfield, is assisting the family with arrangements. Flowers may be sent to 53 Warfield Street, Westfield, MA. Memorial contributions in Tom’s memory may be made to the Department of Veteran’s Services.
