LONGMEADOW – Thomas M. Conroy, 74, died Thursday, November 29, 2012 in a local nursing home. He was born in Westfield on April 14, 1938 in Westfield to the late James and Mildred (Brazzee) Conroy.
He grew up in Westfield and attended St. Mary’s Schools. He has lived in Longmeadow for the past 40 years. He worked at Dirats Laboratories in Westfield for many years and retired in 1999. Thomas was a member of the Westfield Theatre Group.
He leaves his brothers, Richard Conroy and his wife Dianne of Pilot, VA, and Donald Conroy and his wife Pat of Westfield; his sisters, Betty Hansen, Mary Therrien and Barbara Puza all of Westfield and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, William Conroy.
The funeral for Thomas will be held on Tuesday, December 4th at 9:00 a.m. from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
