To my Republican friends: what the heck is going on? What does your Party stand for? Free Trade is out. Government interference is in. The use of government power to take out industries with whom your President disagrees as Amazon. Trump: “they are not being FAIR!” Business economics are rarely fair. It is based on, for those Libertarian folks, especially the Machiavellian/Randian types, all about win at any cost. Our global status since WWII has made the U.S. very wealthy. Americans rebuilt and rearmed much of the world. They loss lives, and trade domination. I do not know where your boss gets his version of reality. And, I do not get the anti-Canadian, and anti-allies thing? Is Trump going have us pay for to build a wall to block Canada too? Yet, the Russians are wonderful, really? Since he was sworn in Russia has spied on our sub base in Rhode Island, his jets, buzz our jets over open waters, Putin has armed the Iranians, and the Syrians, and rained down horrific crimes against Humanity there, and only got a slap on the wrist? Now Kim Jun Un is a nice guy after 3 generations of murder, rape, starvation, penal colonies for his own people, including his Uncle and Brother? Trump made concessions, publically, but got none from Kim? And, his “joke” that he would like the loyalty that Kim gets. The Republicans I used to know, while we fought hard and long over the how to do things; they loved this country, and our principles and practices of government. They would never have tolerated for a moment that the Russian tried to sabotage our elections.Granted CYA has always been common but never to the extent of undermining our Judicial, and National Security.
Now, for you,so call Moral Conservatives, and the taking children away from their mothers seeking refuge; how dare you call yourself Moral! And, you get Sessions saying: it is in the Bible!…Christ had His disciples gather food (work) on the Sabbath, and take the Show Bread from the temple. How do you tolerate such a sacrilege? It is heresy to use God for secular purposes of self-serving self-interests. Especially when there are alternatives. So hateful to children. No more Pro-family rhetoric! Sorry, but those kinds of acts more than anger me. I understand the use of political and economic hypocrisy in our secular materialistic world, but I draw the line when it comes to moral hypocrisy in our religious one. Christ did not hate, nor advocate hating, He advocated love, even to our enemies; forgiveness, mercy, compassion. Remember: blessed be the peacemakers, and the Humble too?
