The Eastern States Exposition Special Events Department would like to thank all those who participated in one of our 2018 Parades. The committee made some changes this year and we recognize that extra effort was required to apply and we appreciate the hard work of those who completed the new application. Thank you for taking part in this tradition that is a major part of The Big E Fair!
A special thank you to our Parade Marshals, James Beucke, Jill Bonavita, and Robert Houldson, for their incredible dedication and kindness, as well as the many Police and Fire departments for their help and presence in the parades, the American Legion for their patriotic participation and all the individual and groups who had a hand in the parades.
Lastly, we express our gratitude to all the marchers for abiding by and respecting the rules of the parade (by not throwing or handing out items) and for keeping a phenomenal tempo. We look forward to working with you again in 2019!
