Hello Ward 3, and all of Westfield… For all those who asked me about Tiger Pride; their weekly menu is on their Facebook, and on the Westfield Schools Facebook pages. I want to thank all those who enabled this to happen. Again, for $8.00 with fantastic service that trains our future culinary workers, and helps pays for their operational costs this is a great place to be on those Wed-Fri. that they are open…hope to see you there for more than just their fantastic buffets. Next for WTA, their Automotive crews. I bring my car there and am always more than satisfied. But, now recognized for first place in a competition for their fine work. Great work by the young men and women in this program. As well, they just got a new jet to study. Who would have thought that our Tech. Academy would be given jets, and helicopters to work on? Vocational Ed is not what it used to be,, and hopefully we can equip them for more 21st Century employment.
Next, if any of you have friends and family in Vermont tell them to thank their State leaders for enabling Mass. access to Canadian Hydroelectric. Clean energy must be the focus.
To: Rep. Velis: (and I will be contacting his Office, and I hope you will too) In Rocky Hill Conn. This past week they celebrated the women in the military during WWII. They finally got their service medals. A forgotten group, taken for granted, who did so much to help America win the war. Is there a recognition for women warriors in Mass.? If not, why not. They earned it. I will also be contacting the State Office for Veteran Affairs to motivate them. I ask because while at HCC I created a Veterans Club that got Vet services to the campus, and was a liaison to, then, Cong. Conte. One of the things we discovered was that women veterans had to travel great distances to access post war medial services. Visa vie Cong., Conte and our network with other campus vet groups were able to create closer services for our women vets. So I know that they can be left out.
OK, sorry in advance, but the Fed…National Debt to go to $1 trillion. Not discussed is that we have to pay it back with interest, plus it is often bought up my other countries. China has much of our debt, so too Arab oil countries, Japan and Korea. This puts us in a various precarious position. If a real conflict evolves, and they cash in that debt, what will we do and what will it cost us. Now Trump wants to privatize our space program, after American lives have been given and tax payer have invested trillions to turn it over to a for profit? Likewise $2 trillion into infrastructure that we will locally pay to partner in and for profits will as well so as to create toll roads and bridges to pay them back?
I never want to tell you what to think, but to add information to that process. After all we hire them, and pay for all they do and don’t do. And, we do not have millions of dollars to hide behind when it messes up. Your former Ward 3 City Councilor, and Community Advocate….Brian Hoose, [email protected]
