WESTFIELD: Virginia Lucille (Marsh) Curro of Westfield, formerly of Russell, died Monday, August 10, 2015 after a brief illness. She was born September 6, 1933 to the late Pauline (Legg) Marsh and Arthur Marsh in Greene,NY. Ginny was an incredible mother, grandmother and friend .She lived by the rule that laughter is the best medicine and showed all of her children and grandchildren unfaltering love and support. She enjoyed watching movies, endless hours of NCIS, cooking and spending time with her family. She loved nothing more than her, long-time companion, her cat, Precious. After losing her first and forever love, George Webb, Sr., Ginny moved from their farm in upstate New York to Russell and worked at the City Whip Factory in Westfield for many years.Besides, her parents and first husband, she is pre-deceased by her husbands, Gerald VanPelt and Angelo Curro. She is survived by her 6 Children: Sherry Webb & Carolyn, George “Buddy” Webb & Janice, Rebbeca Webb, Carol Carbone & Gary, Dennis VanPelt & Diane, Arthur VanPelt & Sharon. Her 6 grandchildren: Krystina Bollacker, Nicole Duval & John, Gerry Vanpelt & Jacklyn, James Webb, Patricia Soffen & Kyle Webb. Two great-granchildren: Aiden & Zachary as well as her extended Curro Family. Calling hours will be Saturday, August 15th from 12-2pm at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield.
