WESTFIELD: Walter D. Fife, 60, of Westfield passed away on September 28, 2015 surrounded by his family and masonic brothers he was born in Springfield to the late Robert and Norine Fife. He is survived by a daughter Amanda Desouza of Uncasville, CT and a son Jeremy Bates of Brooklyn CT, also a sister Cynthia Youngclaus of new London CT, his aunt Ruth Fife of Westfield, lifetime friend and cousin Anne M. Guerin of Westfield and Michael R. Michon who always looked to Walt as his father figure. He was a Master Mason at Mount Moriah Lodge of Westfield also a member of the Widows Sons Stone Cutters chapter also served a short time in the US Army. Services will be held at Mount Moriah Lodge, 72 Broad St. Westfield on Saturday October 10, 2015 from 11AM-2PM.
