WESTFIELD – Wayne A. Dorman, 86, (1936-2023) passed away on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 at Westfield Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born in 
Westfield MA to the late Ralph and Helen (Dewey) Dorman and was a graduate of Westfield Vocational School. Wayne worked as a machinist for Old Colony Envelope for many years. He proudly served in the Army National Guard from 1954-1957. Wayne was a member of St. Rocco’s, loved to play pool, watch football and baseball and going out to eat. He was a former NASCAR official and enjoyed races at Riverside, Monadnock and Thompson Speedway. Wayne also loved to travel, visiting Africa, Alaska, Hawaii and the Grand Canyon to name a few.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 45 years, Felicia J. (Burkott) Dorman in 2005.
He is survived by his three loving daughters, Gayle Kolodziej and her husband Dan of Southampton, Dr. Sharon Dorman and Herb Turner of Kennebunkport ME and Dawn Girroir and her husband Bob of Westfield, his cherished three grandchildren, Melissa Gogel and her husband David, Brandon Soto and Matthew Kolodziej, and three great-grandchildren, Dottie and Ben Gogel and Ivy Soto.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday, August 25th, 2023 at 7 p.m. in the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Visiting hours will precede the service from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home. www.firtionadams.com
