WESTFIELD – After threatening skies during the day gave way to a beautiful evening, thousands of area residents made their way to Westfield’s Park Square Green for the Westfield Music Fest concert Thursday night.
Temperatures made it into the 80s during the day with forecasters also predicting the possibility of rain but as concert time drew closer, the clouds parted and it turned into a great night for the event, held on Westfield’s green.
The tribute band “Bruce in the USA” performed an almost 2-hour set of classic Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band songs to a throng of people spanning all generations. Acoustic duo Sam and Jeff warmed up the crowd prior to the main show.
