WESTFIELD – The Westfield Public Schools continues to enhance safety policies and procedures as part of their strategic plan.
In conjunction with the Westfield Police and Fire Departments, Westfield Administrators representing every level from elementary to high school have been working collaboratively to make sure students, staff, and families have a researched based and educationally sound safety plan.
The Westfield Public Schools and Westfield Police Department will conduct safety drills in city schools the week of November 26-30 utilizing the enhanced lockdown procedures known as A.L.I.C.E (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate). Parents will be notified by Principals once the school drill has been completed.
If you have questions regarding drills and school safety, please contact Mr. Christopher Rogers, Administrator of Student Interventions at 413-572-6397.
