Westfield was able to come from behind in the sixth inning in order to earn an 8-7 victory over Jesse Burkett (Worcester) to win the Sectional Championship on Monday night.
The girls are now headed to the State Championships, starting with a double header on Sunday, July 15 in Woburn against Peabody. Game three would be played on Monday if necessary.
