Westfield High School students in Mrs. West and Ms. Picard’s art classes, as well as their after- school Art Club, have been busy this week making ornaments in memory of the students and teachers from Sandy Hook Elementary School. Upon listening and hearing that they needed ornaments for a tree in memory of those killed, our students were anxious to do what they could to show that they care. Some students even made ornaments at home to be delivered. Mrs. Drewnowski created a giant card which was signed by all the students with thoughtful wishes during this extremely difficult time. Our students were proud to be a part of this community service project, and in turn, we are extremely proud of them. (Photo submitted)
